The skiway team really makes this mountain the local gem it is! Incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful staff across all departments. From ticketing personnel, to ski rentals, instructors, lift attendants and groomers. Always leave being impressed that it was another notably positive experience! Every visit it’s another staff member from another part of the team going above and beyond to make it an amazing experience for our kiddos!

The nicest people ( especially the lady in rental department ), 3 magic carpets on the left mountain for beginners, plenty of parking, not very crowded if you go during the weekdays. The lodge has some food options, but you can also bring your own, enjoyed our time very much!

So we tried this place after seeing it in N.H. chronicle. We are big fans of college students running ski patrol after four years of rolling dirty at RIT Ambulance in Rochester NY. small, but everyone is really nice and the mountain is fun and challenging at the same time. Cell phone didn’t work (First Net and Verizon) at the lodge but did work in the air. It’s a niche place but worth the visit. And we can’t say enough about the ski patrol. Also-they support veterans by running a disabled veteran ski program. Pizza truck outside is awesome.

Great independent mountain that's rarely crowded. Reasonable prices. Hike up to the Appalachian trail from the summit left on the double chair for great views off the backside. The beginner side is across the road where the lodge is. Both sides have interesting trails and glades.

Very friendly staff. The slides are good, but the zone for beginners is designed for children up to 8-9 years old, not for beginner adults (there a standing lift quickly leads to fatigue). The main thing is there is snow even when there is no snow on other slides. In rental - German and Italian equipment - is very good. Be ready - no wireless, ATT - no service - u will need to use off network map.

We discovered Dartmouth Skiway through IndyPass, based on a last minute change of plans due to wind holds elsewhere in the region. The snow was great (Feb 2025), and there was a nice variety of on / off piste terrain. The staff was friendly, the facilities are really nice, and the lift ticket / season price passes prices are shockingly low. (wish I lived closer) I also love the history. Thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely on my "to ski again" list.

Usually well groomed. Sometimes fresh powder is left on the slopes. (I have heard its not that big but i dont have much of a comparison)... only drawback is it is a common sport for learners, but you can usually avoid ski classes by going to holt
